All of our products are safety tested for heat and are safe when installed according to the instruction sheets included with the fixture. All light sources produce heat, all with varying amounts depending on the type of fixtrure and where it is installed. Generally xenon or halogen fixtures produce the most heat. We recommend you not to store food directly above xenon or halogen fixture for your food safety.

After turning off the fixture and allowing it to cool down, wash with a soft, damp cloth using mild soap if needed. Some glass finishes can be damaged if soaked in water or exposed to strong cleaning products such as Windex. We recommend wiping glass shades clean with a soft, damp cloth without any kind of soap. Never wash glass shades in an automatic dishwasher.
